DSM

Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is a manual, published by the American Psychiatric Association, that provides standardized criteria for the diagnosis of psychiatric conditions, including alcohol and drug use disorders. The current edition, published in 1994 is the 4th edition, called DSM-IV.
